Holy reality.

I know a lot of you folks have probably seen this; I’m also sure there are many of you who have not. The video has a lot of imagery from which I drew inspiration during the final stages of imagiNATION. After listening to the album Lateralus today for the first time in a long time while doing my daily edits, I recalled this video for the songs Parabol and Parabola. It’s filled with imagery (and the songs kick ass, too) but it all pales in comparison to the video’s final moments, during the awakening of the chakras and opening of the third eye. Sorry, I know I’m gushing about this. I’ll shut up and get to the video. All I ask is that you watch just once, whether you love or hate the music. It’s really worth it for the visuals alone.

    Hell yeah, lateralus was my theme album for a long time. I put down Tool after I saw them at the Big Day Out a year or so ago. I recently found a burned copy of Lateralus bouncing around in my car and decided to chuck it in. Needless to say it was a great drive (:
