FYI: If you (or someone close to you) happened to maybe, possibly, hopefully want a signed copy of A Life Transparent, you’ve now got until next Friday to order one.
Right. It’s been another long week, even if it was technically only a four-day work week, what with the holiday on Monday. I’ve got to admit that I’m beat this week. As a matter of fact, I intended to post this entry a lot earlier today, but once I got home, had dinner and relaxed for a bit, I honestly couldn’t be bothered. But now it’s almost midnight, almost not Friday anymore, and I figure I can crank this thing out in less than an hour, so here goes.

I know a lot of you folks have probably seen this; I’m also sure there are many of you who have not. The video has a lot of imagery from which I drew inspiration during the final stages of imagiNATION. After listening to the album Lateralus today for the first time in a long time while doing my daily edits, I recalled this video for the songs Parabol and Parabola. It’s filled with imagery (and the songs kick ass, too) but it all pales in comparison to the video’s final moments, during the awakening of the chakras and opening of the third eye. Sorry, I know I’m gushing about this. I’ll shut up and get to the video. All I ask is that you watch just once, whether you love or hate the music. It’s really worth it for the visuals alone.

Now playing: Modwheelmood - Sleep
Not much new to report right now. Well, not much new on the editing front. It’s still moving along at the same pace. I’m about 50 pages in (out of 410), and the more I go, the more I realize how much work I really have for myself. Characters being moved around, whole sections of chapters appearing and disappearing—thank Cthulhu for computers. If I had to do this with an old word processor or even a typewriter, I think I’d lose my mind.
But that’s beside the point. This entry isn’t about me as much as it’s about others, so skip on down to the next paragraph to see what it’s really about.
