Announcing Gray Friday: Digital Prices Reduced!

Gray Friday

PSA: Hardcover Delays.

November 12, 2012 in Blog

Precipice Books posted about this half an hour ago, and it only makes sense for me to post it here as well. For inexplicable reasons, Amazon has delayed shipment of TLM hardcovers. The current listing shows 5 to 7 weeks for delivery, which makes no sense considering ALT is still in stock and available to ship within 24 hours.

At this point in time, if you’re looking to buy a TLM hardcover for the holidays, please consider Barnes & Noble or any other retailer. I’ll post here once we hear back from Amazon. Cross your fingers. I hope we can sort this one out.

Vindicated.

October 24, 2012 in Blog

Today I drove 10.5 hours to my hometown in Corbin, Kentucky for a pair of book signings this weekend. When I arrived, I was greeted with this:

So that happened. Tonight, while having dinner with my folks at a local restaurant, I happened to look over and see a fellow at an adjacent table reading the same article. That moment was quite surreal to say the least.

I’d write more, but I’m exhausted from the drive. Just wanted to share this with you. Expect more posts soon.

Good night, friends!

My editor is looking for new clients.

October 13, 2012 in Blog, For Writers

The title says it all. My wonderful editor, Amelia Bennett, is seeking new clients while I venture off to promote TLM and work on Book #3. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a website up and running yet, so in the meantime, Precipice Books has set up a contact form on her behalf so you can reach her.

If you’ve read ALT or TLM, you’ve already witnessed the caliber of her work. To quote her:

You are the genius in this relationship. My job is to make sure everyone else can see that.

Her rates are fair (and negotiable!), so if you have a manuscript that needs a second pair of eyes (and honestly, what manuscript doesn’t?), she’s the editor for you.

You can reach her by entering your info in the contact form here. You can also follow her on Twitter!

Announcing Precipice Books

September 1, 2012 in Blog

About two years ago, a dream I’ve had for a long time finally came to fruition with the help of the ALT 2.0 Kickstarter project. Precipice Books was born, and the rest is history.

Since then, I’ve spent most of my free time promoting ALT and completing the edits of its sequel, THE LIMINAL MAN. My preoccupation with these things stood in the way of a formal web presence for Precipice Books. With the TLM edits in the can, I finally had some time to sit down, pick a theme for the site, and draw together its contents.

Today, I’m proud to announce the official launch of Precipice Books. Go check it out!

A post about pre-orders for the TLM Gift Set will follow soon.

ALT website is now live.

January 5, 2011 in Blog

I want to give mad props to my lovely wife, Erica, for putting this site together under short notice. She was a trooper, debugging and troubleshooting various issues (most of them related to everyone’s favorite abortion of a web browser, Internet Explorer). I think the site looks great, and it will serve as a one-stop place for all things ALT-related.

You can check it out here: www.alifetransparent.com

ALT is now back on the market. Before anyone asks, the Kindle version will be available very soon. I uploaded the file to Amazon this afternoon, and it should pop up on the site sometime tomorrow. I’ll update here once it’s up.

Look for another post later on with photos of the first Kickstarter shipment which arrived yesterday.

Until then,

TK
