If you are one of my American readers, you’re probably as busy as I am preparing for the oncoming holiday.  If you’re reading this from another country, take joy in knowing you don’t have to put up with this sort of crap.  You can watch from the sidelines and live vicariously if you so choose.

Right.  Thanksgiving.  Erica and I are traveling this year, visiting my family in Kentucky for four days before embarking on a 12-hour journey back to Pennsylvania Land.  She’s toting her laptop, so I’ll have limited access to email.  If I’m in the vicinity of wi-fi, I’ll probably be on Twitter.

I doubt I’ll get much written this weekend, if anything at all, but the ideas and events that comprise the next chapter of the book are gestating.  I know there are a few copies of ALT waiting for me to sign, so keep an eye out for photos.

For now, I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving, wherever you are in the world, whether you eat turkey or not.
