I’ve heard from a lot of you about that one episode of Book Chatter from a couple of months ago. You know, the one with Eryk Pruitt, Anthony Rapino, Mercedes Yardley, and Yours Truly. You said we should do it again.
So after much discussion and planning, we’ve decided to get the gang back together for a special broadcast. This time we’re taking no prisoners.
From the Facebook event page:
AWKWARD CONVERSATIONS WITH GEEKY WRITERS: SLUMBER PARTY EDITION!
Join four upcoming authors as they ask evil, awkward questions to one another about their works in progress, forthcoming publications, influences, and other hilariously inappropriate topics.
We’re broadcasting via Google Hangouts and streaming to YouTube. Links will be posted a few minutes before we go live. If you want to participate in the broadcast, you will need a Google+ account; otherwise, tune into YouTube to catch our antics (most of which will probably be in poor taste).
Links will be posted a few minutes before the event. We hope you’ll join us!
The Author Panel:
Eryk Pruitt is a screenwriter, author, and filmmaker living in Durham, NC with his wife, Lana, and his cat, Busey. He wrote the screenplay for the award-winning short film FOODIE, and his first novel, DIRTBAGS, is due this spring from Immortal Ink Publishing.
Anthony Rapino resides in Northern PA and is the author of the novel SOUNDTRACK TO THE END OF THE WORLD, the short story collection WELCOME TO MOON HILL, and most recently the audio book REALITY ENGINEERS, produced and published by In Ear Entertainment.
Mercedes Murdock Yardley, aka Mrs. Stabby, is the author of the short story collection BEAUTIFUL SORROWS, the novella APOCALYPTIC MONTESSA AND NUCLEAR LULU, and her first full-length novel NAMELESS is due out later this month from Ragnarok Publications.
Todd Keisling is the author of A LIFE TRANSPARENT, THE LIMINAL MAN (a 2013 Indie Book Award Finalist), and the UGLY LITTLE THINGS series, all published by Precipice Books. He lives and works with his wife and son somewhere in Pennsylvania.
This will work the same way as my other broadcasts. Watch Twitter / FB / Google+ for the YouTube link. And just as before, don’t worry if you can’t make it: the broadcast will be recorded.
So tune in next Saturday, January 11th at 4PM EST! Watch us torture each other–for science!
