I don’t write my stories to win awards. I’m sure a lot of my critics would agree with that statement. With that in mind, I’m sure you can imagine my surprise when I received an email this morning about ALT being named the Indie Book of the Day:
Honestly, I’m not even really sure what that means, other than recognition on the front page of a site with a lot of traffic, but that doesn’t mean I’m not grateful. I truly am. My heartfelt thanks go out to the person who took the time to nominate my book. You made my day.
I know I mentioned I’d post “soon” with “news” about “something coming up,” but to be honest, I’ve been a) a victim of the holiday rush, b) feeling generally like garbage these last few days, and c) working on something unrelated to the Monochrome Trilogy. Between those three things, I haven’t felt much like doing anything lately. That doesn’t mean my news isn’t forthcoming–it just means I’ve not had time to announce it yet. Expect something very soon (as in, this weekend). The news involves blogs and tours and prizes to be won. Maybe.
